Haley Higginbotham
PhD Candidate
Global Health Team
(Co-advised by Prof. Ellen Roche)
Research Interests
Haley is passionate about solving real-world medical problems through innovation and engineering. Her previous research projects have involved nuclear magnetic resonance-based measurement of in-vivo hydration states, a system for fluid sampling in the brain, and neural implants for stimulating nerve repair. Currently, in collaboration with the GEAR Center and Roche Lab, she is exploring the design of accessible and reliable solutions for hemodynamic shock detection in low-resource settings.
